About the Author...
 Roger E. Sebrell has served as Deacon, Visitation Coordinator, Trustee, Financial Secretary, Youth Pastor, and Assistant Pastor under the leadership of Dr. Louis C. Baldwin, pastor of Crossroads Baptist Church in Bailey's Crossroads, Virginia. In December 1997, he was ordained, commissioned, and sent out of Crossroads Baptist Church to establish a New Testament church. On April 5, 1998, he and his family conducted the first service of the Hampton Roads Independent Baptist Church (HRIBC) in Hampton, Virginia.
Dr. Roger E. Sebrell currently pastors the Hampton Roads Independent Baptist Church (HRIBC) in Hampton, Virginia. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Theology degree from Fairfax Baptist Temple Missions Academy in Fairfax, Virgnia. He recieved the Master of Theology degree from Victory Baptist Bible Seminary in Hampton, Virginia, and the Master of Ministry degree from Tabernacle Baptist Bible College & Theological Seminary in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The Doctor of Theology degree was conferred upon him by Victory Baptist Bible Seminary in Hampton, Virginia.
